There will also be a half hour Q&A session with special guests, immediately after the show.

Glenwood Springs Train Trip- October 10th & 11th

CFR will have a two day trip to Glenwood Springs on October 10 to 11. The train departs from Denver Union Station about 8am and arrives in Glenwood about 4pm.The train ride offers some outstanding Colorado scenery you cannot see from the highway. We will get a package for $250 or less than includes room, train trip and a pool pass. Glenwood offers great sightseeing, dining and a great time. We will leave Glenwood on the train about 12:30pm Sunday and arrive in Denver at 8pm. Please RSVP as soon as possible to Eric at ej774@hotmail.com.

Early Fall Hike! Saturday 26 Sept
|
 |
Saturday, September 26th, join CFR and Dan for an early fall hike in the
beautiful Betasso Preserve in Boulder Canyon. Betasso Preserve is west of
Boulder, just north of Boulder Canyon and 0.25 mi off Sugarloaf Rd. We'll
follow the 3.2 mi Canyon Loop Trail. The trail is quite moderate with an
overall elevation gain of just 300 feet. The hike will take about 2.5
hours at a moderate pace with time for lunch.
Since late September is a time of unpredictable weather, bring head
protection, sunscreen, raingear, extra clothing layers, lunch, and at least

The next MGM potluck will be 6pm at the wonderful rural home of Sadhna, 6717 Valmont, just east of Boulder Extras! There‘s a swimming hole, and swimsuits are optional; and there will be dancing later in the evening! As usual, entrance is $5 (unless it’s your first MGM or you’re a volunteer helping to set up or break down) plus please bring a dish for six people and whatever you’d like to drink

This pop opera musical takes place among seniors in a Catholic boarding school contemplating their future, and centers on a couple, Peter and Jason who are in love and not sure how to respond. Join CFR for its 28th anniversary FREE TO MEMBERS dinner catered by KT's BBQ of Boulder. This will be held at Jim Baily's beautiful house & deck located 3050 Vassar Drive in south Boulder. Social hour is at 5 with dinner at 6. BYOB; and please bring an outdoor chair if you've got one. Non-member guests are welcome at $10, but free if they join the club. Denver Botanic Gardens Walk and Lunch- Sunday May 17

Paul will host a spring walk-through at the Denver Botanic Gardens on Sunday, May 17th, followed by a rendezvous for lunch somewhere nearby (TBD). We will meet at 10:30 am by the front entrance. Parking is limited as they do reconstruction, so carpooling or parking in Cheesman is recommended. Currently, group ticket prices are $10.50 for nonmembers of the Gardens and $8.00 for senior citizen nonmembers 65 yrs and older. Please RSVP to Paul by Friday, May 15th at doug2paul@msn.com. Phantom of the Opera will appear at the Denver Center for the Performance Arts this season and we will catch the 2 pm matinee on Saturday March 21.
