Denver Botanic Gardens Walk and Lunch- Sunday May 17
|
|
Paul will host a spring walk-through at the Denver Botanic Gardens on Sunday, May 17th, followed by a rendezvous for lunch somewhere nearby (TBD). We will meet at 10:30 am by the front entrance. Parking is limited as they do reconstruction, so carpooling or parking in Cheesman is recommended. Currently, group ticket prices are $10.50 for nonmembers of the Gardens and $8.00 for senior citizen nonmembers 65 yrs and older. Please RSVP to Paul by Friday, May 15th at doug2paul@msn.com. Paul will buy the tickets beforehand for those who RSVP, and be reimbursed at the event.

Eric will host our visit to the DGMC concert "A Little Bit Country, A Little Bit Rock 'n Roll" This concert takes place 7:30 at Montview Presbyterian Church at Dahlia & Montview. Tickets are $22. Join CFR for Bat Boy The Musical, Saturday April 11 at 7:30 PM We attended Bat Boy a few years ago (at Theater on Broadway) and now it is being given again, and directed again by Nick Sugar. Tickets are $24 or $31 for preferred seating. The $24 seats are on the sides of the stage. Town Hall Arts Center, 2450 W. Main Street in Littleton. Theater Night Phantom of the Opera- March 21

Phantom of the Opera will appear at the Denver Center for the Performance Arts this season and we will catch the 2 pm matinee on Saturday March 21. Tickets are $42 each for upper balcony seats, but I think will be well worth it! If you would like to go please let me know ASAP as these types of tickets may sell out quickly. Our next potluck is January 31 at the Hunt Club party room, 1470 South Quebec Way. Munchies at 5, Dinner at 6. Please bring a main dish, side dish, or dessert. It’s only $5. Bring a friend! BYOB if you like. We supply utensils, sodas and water. These gatherings are always fun and we look forward to this first one of the new year.
